We would like to thank all the participants, Urban Discovery, sponsors and volunteers for making CWS City Challenge a huge Success.The city challenge has raised just under HK$200,000 but more funds keep coming in – thank you! If your friends would still like to sponsor you please let us know.

RACE STORIES
We as the organizing committee were all much impressed by your collective competitiveness and outstanding racing spirit.The event was a true celebration of Nepal and the work of CWS.
One story at CP ‘GIFTS FROM THE HEART’ captured our imagination.The team sourced a beautiful small robot as a gift for Douglas to bring to the CWS day care centers in Nepal. Asked for their motivation one team-member -himself originally from Nepal -responded: ‘because I never had one when I was a kid’

CWS City Challenge 2012
CWS City Challenge is an ’Amazing Race’ inspired event that highlights Hong Kong’s little-known urban gems. It is open to everyone from friends and families to corporate organisations.
Organised by ‘Urban Discovery’ exclusively for Child Welfare Scheme (CWS), the CWS City Challenge will be held on Saturday 18th February 2012 from 2pm to 5pm. Teams will put their knowledge, communication and navigations skills to the test to complete the scavenger hunt around Central & Sheung Wan District.
Teams and fees
Each participant will receive a special souvenir, food and drink at the finish line and an afternoon of fun!
Teams are minimum 2 and maximum 5:
- General teams - HK$600 per person
- Student teams – HK$300 per person
- Corporate teams – HK$1,200 per person
